EXTRAORDINARY CREATORS & EXCEPTIONAL WORKS = WONDROUS POSSIBILITIES

Since 1972, the Millay Colony for the Arts has hosted over 3000 outstanding writers, poets, filmmakers, performers, playwrights, visual artists, musicians and composers to Steepletop -- the home of poet and activist Edna St. Vincent Millay -- to create works that would not otherwise have been produced. Our alumni include many who have been internationally recognized as Pulitzer Prize winners, National Book awardees, Whitney Biennial participants and Guggenheim fellows. We collaborate with local and regional partners -- including schools and other community organizations -- to present singular and compelling educational and cultural programming together with our remarkable alumni and dedicated supporters.
